Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Katahdin Digital Growth website ("Site") or engaging our web design services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Site or services.

Services

Katahdin Digital Growth provides premium website design and development services for local service businesses across the United States. Our services include custom website design, search engine optimization, schema markup implementation, hosting, and ongoing maintenance.

Pricing and Payment

• Our standard service is $99 per month with zero upfront cost.
• After 24 consecutive monthly payments, full ownership of the website transfers to you.
• Hosting, SSL certificates, maintenance, and routine content updates are included in the monthly fee.
• Custom development work beyond the standard scope may be quoted separately.

Website Ownership and Transfer

• During the 24-month payment period, Katahdin Digital Growth retains ownership of the website code and design.
• After 24 consecutive payments, full ownership transfers to you, including all source code and assets.
• You own all original content, business information, photos, and reviews displayed on your site at all times.

Cancellation

• You may cancel your service at any time with no penalties or early termination fees.
• Upon cancellation, the website will be taken offline within a reasonable timeframe.
• We retain your website files for 90 days after cancellation in case you wish to resume service.
• After 90 days, all files are permanently deleted.

Content and Accuracy

• We build websites using publicly available information from your Google Business Profile, Facebook page, and online reviews.
• Customer reviews displayed on your website are reproduced verbatim as they appear on public review platforms.
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of business information displayed on your site.
• We will make corrections promptly upon your request at no additional charge.

Hosting and Uptime

We host websites on Cloudflare Pages, a globally distributed platform. While we strive for maximum uptime, we do not guarantee 100% availability. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party hosting providers, DNS issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

Domain Names

If you have an existing domain name, we can configure your website to use it. Domain registration and renewal fees are your responsibility. We will assist with DNS configuration at no additional charge.

Intellectual Property

All website designs, code, and creative work produced by Katahdin Digital Growth are our intellectual property until ownership transfers after 24 payments. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute the website code during the payment period. All content on this Site, including text, design elements, and branding, is the property of Katahdin Digital Growth.

Limitation of Liability

Katahdin Digital Growth's liability is limited to the total amount paid for services in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or business opportunities arising from website downtime or errors.

Third-Party Links

This Site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for the content or practices of linked sites.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this Site. Your continued use of the Site or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Maine. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Penobscot County, Maine.
